OTR trucking (over-the-road trucking) involves long-haul driving, often crossing multiple states. The pay is generally higher than local jobs, and drivers can see more of the country. However, it requires being away from home for extended periods, which can be tough for some. If you enjoy independence and are comfortable with life on the road, it can be a rewarding career.
